Some small sites are not simple: a duplex with a basement, four townhouses on a filled block, a small commercial building over soft ground, a steep waterfront lot. They need more than a classification, but not the scale of investigation a tower does.
We scope the investigation from your drawings: the number and depth of boreholes, in-situ testing, laboratory strength and consolidation testing, and the analysis the structural engineer needs. The report gives founding recommendations for shallow and piled options, settlement estimates, excavation and groundwater advice, and retaining parameters, with the data behind every call.

We come out with a rig or hand equipment, drill the boreholes, log the soil as it comes out of the ground and take samples for the laboratory where the report needs them.
An engineer at Australian Ground Sciences checks and signs the report. It goes to you as a PDF, ready for your builder, slab designer or certifier.
